Islamic Nation Iran is with all the Islamic
Counties in the war against Terror. Iran
is not with the enemies of Islam as stated earlier by the Saffron Media of
India. In a meeting at Tehran with Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani on
Monday Iran regards Pakistan’s security as its own security said President
Hassan Rouhani.
During the meeting with Senate Chairman
Raza Rabbani in Tehran, Iran President firmly endorsed the threat of terrorism exists
and posed it as a major threat for the security of the Asian subcontinent. Further
Mr. Rouhani called upon all the regional countries and cooperates with each
other in the combat and fight against terrorism and to eliminate it, and
removed the seeds of terrorism from the soil.
He further said, Iran and
Pakistan were and are strategically important to one another, and expressed
Tehran’s determination to expand relations with Islamabad in Science and
Technology, Culture and Energy. Mr.
Rabbani Presides over the Senate Delegation to Iran and attend the inaugural of
Mr. Rouhani’s second term as the President of Islamic Republic of Iran. During
the interaction with the President Mr. Raza stressed that Pakistan will turn every
stone to strengthen the relations between the two
countries. He further said both the
countries are following common culture, religion, and historical terms. Pakistan
will be happy to promote relations with Iran he said.
Senator Rabbani thanks to
Iran for its firm stand and determination on Kashmir issue. Further Senate Chairman also grateful to Iran
and its stand which was expressed by the Islamic Country’s supreme Leader
Ayatollaha Ali Khamenei in the month of Ramadan.
The Kashmiri people were
suffering the worst kind of torture at the hands of occupied Indian forces who
were using new tactics of brutalities such as pellet guns, blinding hundreds of
innocent Kashmiris as a result, Mr Rabbani informed the Iranian president.
Mr Rouhani recalled his two
visits to Pakistan during the past one year and hoped that bilateral relations
would continue to improve.
Other members of the
Pakistani delegation included senators Mir Mohammed Yousaf Badini, Hidayat
Ullaha, Ghaus Muhammad Khan Niazi and Rahila Magsi and Ambassador to Iran Asif
Durrani.
