Indian view on Kashmir.

Dear Sir,

Modi Government decision to cancel the secretary level talk with PAK to be held on 25th August 2014 is not good indication for peace.  At the first information it will give wrong projection of India in front of the International community which may humiliate and weak the India's stand on the peace talk.  The sudden change of the talk is shows the myopic tendency of Modi Government.  Any democratic Government forms policy for the country and foreign affairs keeping on long term basis.  There is couple of things on which Modi Government has to reply to the international community.  Firstly it was India who extended hands of talks with PAK and warm welcome to PAK Prime Minister in the swearing ceremony; secondly, it is not first time when Pakistani high commissioner met to Hurriyat leaders from Kashmir.  In the Government of Vajpayee Hurriyat leaders met with the envoy of PAK, during the visit of Parvez Mussharaf representatives of Jammu & Kashmir met with the PAK high commissioner.   At this moment Modi Government cancelled the bilateral talks with PAK is certainly short-sightedness policy of democratic Govt.   It shows the Government policy is not stable it can change within 11 hours which is not good indication of Democratic Government.  It may be good policy for monarch or Hitler like Government.

As Indian public has got venom against Pakistan and they are not serious to improve the relations between the two countries.  This situation become even worst after terrorists supportive Govt has come to power in India. In fact Modi Government of India is not serious to resolve the disputed issues including Kashmir same as previous Governments who were not serious to resolve the issue of Kashmir, now it will become more complicated after the formation of terrorists Government at centre.

If America wanted to mediate in the matter to solve the Kashmir issue it is alleged by India it is internal matter, India did not want to raise the matter in any international forum. Now this peace talk has been cancelled by India, it is another proof that India is not serious to solve the Kashmir issue, then how the disputed issues will be resolved.

Hurriyat is the real representatives of people of Kashmir, though Indian Govt has not given them recognition that is apart, but the people of Kashmir who have given representation to Hurriyat and not to the democratic process of India, which is just mimicry in the form of voting. 

Now Indian has to resolve the issue of Kashmir as early as possible and act as per the voice of people of Kashmir who have given representation to Hurriyat and in any democratic country the representation of people and respect the voice of the people holds important value.
