Declare Navi Mumbai a separate District.

Declare Harbor Line separate zone, like Central and Western.

Dear Sir,

Navi Mumbai is the twin city to Mumbai, has population about 20 to 25 lakshs. Unfortunately is not have its own identity. Half Navi Mumbai comes under the Thane district and half under Alibag District. Now it is the proper time to declare Navi Mumbai a separate district and notified in the Maharashtra Assembly. New Mumbai limit should starts from Vashi Gaon to New Panvel and from Taloja Central Jail to Vashi Gaon.

Session Court is also not have proper jurisdiction. Upto CBD Belapur Thane Session Court have jurisdiction onward form Khargahr, Taloja, Kalamboli, Panvel, Alibag Session Court have jurisdiction.

Residents of Kalamboli, Taloja, New Panvel, Kharghar used to move Alibag for any district level work. In the same way for Session Court work, they will have to move upto Alibagh that is the wastage of time and money of public.

Harbor railway line is becoming one of the bussy railway line. It should be declare a separate zone like central and western. Central railway line is already overburdened, so the service of Harbor line for local is badly affected on the peak hours.

There is need of fast local service between Panvel to Mumbai, and it is necessary to enhance the speed of slow local, presently it is taking 1 hours and 20 minutes from Panvel to Mumbai, and 1 hours 10 minutes from Belapur to Mumbai.

It is often seen that locals are reaching late by 10 to 15 minutes from their schedule time to the destination, which causes a lot of difficulties to the office goers to and fro. Necessity to run the locals within schedule time.
