I very strongly condemn the recent attack on the office of
“The Week” Magazine at Mumbai on Thursday 19th April 2012. The attack on the office of the magazine by the goons of Shivaji’s Sena which is popularly known as Shiv Sena, is
ridicules. It is the unconstitutional
way of protest by the attackers on the press office. Shiv Sena always believing in
unconstitutional way of working and getting work done in unconstitutional
way. Shiv Sena has achieved the
political status, however involved in arson of public and private property,
killing of innocents, communalism, terrorism, fascism, corruption.
The Shiv Sena activists, including 11 women, was demanding
the reinstate of the 26 sacked employees.
That is not the proper and constitutional way to get reinstated the
sacked employees. The Sena activists
abused and assaulted The Week deputy general manager of sales Geogi
Zachariah. If Shiv Sena has any
grievances with regards to the employees they should have lodge their protest
in the constitutional frame work. However, what I guess it would not be case of
employees, but it would be the case of publication of some articles or news
item which might be published in The Week magazine. Shiv Sena is always the back stabber.
Shiv Sena is following the path of their leader and the
so-called King of Sixteenth Century “Shivaji Bhosle”. Shivaji revolted against Mugals. Infact he was the rebellion, he looted the
Shahi Treasurer, and use it for his pleasure life. Mugal Emperor Aurangzeb gave him the name as
“Pahadi Chuha” a rat on mountain.
Because he used to looted the Mugal Treasurer in the night time and in
the day time he used to hide on the mountains.
This is not single misdeed created by Shiv Seniks, on 20th
Nov. 2009 a group of 20-25 Shiv Seniks attacked on journalists Nikhil Wagle and damaged property at the offices of
IBN Lokmat and IBN7, the Marathi and Hindi news channels of the IBN Network, in
north-east Mumbai’s Vikhroli. It was
alleged that IBN Network projecting correct fascist picture of Shiv Sena, which
irritated them resulted to damage the office of IBN Network.
Somewhere in the year 2004 Shiv Sena started the
looting & arson at the book seller stalls
against the selling of book, Shivaji Hindu King in Islamic India by
James Laine The Government of Maharashtra filed an appeal in High Court Bombay
under the pressure of Shiv Sena. the judgement favours the Author. The Government of Maharashtra challenged the
Bombay High Court verdict in Supreme Court, which also goes in favour of the
Author and the banned book will be available in open market. But it shows the fascist tendency of Shiv
Sena because
it was the Shiv Sena’s demand to banns the book and file the appeal in High
Court subsequently to the Supreme Court.
Prem Shukla editor of Dophar Ka Samna openly used filthy and
abusive language in the debate on TV9, for Haji and Haj Yatra, the biggest
pilgrimage of Islamic sect.
Samna openly publish the blasphemous article on Prophet
Sallam nobody have got dare to grabbed the collar under press rules. Sanjay Raut openly challenge to Sharukh Khan
that he lives in Mumbai and not in Pakistan.
If he dares to speak in constitutional language then his bungalow will
be will be wiped out from Mumbai.
Sharukh Khan supported the presence of Pakistani Players in IPL, which
is in no way anti constitutional, it was his opinion and he is one of the
franchisee of IPL and being a businessman he may support to the country from
whom he may have expectations to get proper business. In fact Shiv Sena is the party of Gundas, if
the M.P. and reputed post holder Raut speaking like a gunda then we can not
expect the fare treatment with indeed Gundas of Shiv Sena.
This is the proper time to bring the correct image of
fascist party Shiv Sena to the public, without any fear. Attack on The week Magazine office is the
attack on press liberty, which should be banned by the Government after passing
legislation to protect the owner, property and lives of press people.
